ABOUT IAN
The founder of FORM.
The Architecture of Becoming
Begins With Experience

Most people know me as a confidence coach.
Some know me as The Confidence King.
Others know me as a counsellor, speaker, mentor, actor, image consultant,
NLP Master Practitioner, shamanic practitioner, or etiquette expert.
All of those things are true.
But none of them are really the reason people come to me.
People come to me because I understand what it means to rebuild a life.
Not from theory.
From experience.
I Have Always Been Fascinated By Human Potential
For more than thirty years I have worked with people from all walks of life.
Royalty
Entrepreneurs.
Business owners.
Professionals.
Performers.
Leaders.
People standing at a crossroads, wondering why the life they have built no longer feels like it fits.
Throughout that journey I have studied extensively.
I am a qualified counsellor, Fellow of the International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring,NLP Master Practitioner and have trained across multiple disciplines including confidence coaching, communication, personal development, leadership and behavioural change.
I care deeply about professional standards and proper training because transformation deserves more than opinion.
It deserves expertise.
But qualifications alone do not create wisdom.
Life does...
My Own Reinvention
There was a time when my own life looked successful from the outside.
Yet underneath, I was living completely disconnected from who I truly was.
Like many people, I became brilliant at surviving.
Skilled at fitting in.
Outstanding at becoming what others wanted me to be.
Until eventually the gap between who I was and who I was pretending to be became impossible to ignore.
The years that followed brought loss, change, challenge, heartbreak and rebuilding.
What emerged from that experience was a question that would eventually become the foundation of FORM:
What if confidence isn't something we build on top of ourselves?
What if confidence is what naturally emerges when we stop building our lives on foundations that no longer fit?
That question changed everything.
The Work
Over the years I have been fortunate to work with people ranging from first-time
entrepreneurs to internationally recognised public figures.
My clients have included members of the Royal Family, actors, business leaders, creatives and individuals navigating major life transitions.
Yet the work is always the same.
Whether someone is stepping onto a global stage or recording their first social media video,
the challenge is rarely capability.
The challenge is identity.
It's learning to trust themselves.
To feel safe being seen.
To stop performing and start becoming.
That is the work I love most.
Why FORM Exists
FORM was born from a simple observation.
Most personal development focuses on the visible structure.
The goals.
The habits.
The strategies.
The actions.
Very little attention is given to the foundations underneath.
Yet foundations determine everything.
When people understand the foundations beneath their behaviour, confidence becomes easier.
Visibility becomes easier.
Growth becomes easier.
Life begins to feel less like a battle and more like a homecoming.
FORM is my attempt to put language around that process.
Beyond The Work
Away from coaching, you'll usually find me walking with Bertie, my miniature poodle, drinking coffee, exploring ideas for future books, studying human behaviour, or planning the next evolution of FORM.
I believe life should contain elegance and adventure.
Depth and humour.
Growth and joy.
I believe extraordinary lives are built by ordinary people who finally give themselves permission to become who they truly are.
I also, deeply believe it is never too late to begin.
"FORM is not a method for becoming someone else.
It is an invitation to become more fully yourself."
Welcome.
I'm glad you're here.
